The 2019 FEST Conference is a place for storytellers and organisations to meet exchange and share on different themes that touch the oral storytelling community.
In Kerkrade we will lead you through a series of workshops and lectures about tales and science, the trickster through Europe, storytelling and digital arts. You’ll have the opportunity to learn all about the FEST projects and objectives and prepare the future. Stories will be shared, swapped and spiced up with jazz.

Based on official European rates, FEST offers a reduction (as a refund) on the conference registration fee and travel costs for residents of following countries:

Cat A: €100 refundCzech Republic, Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Malta, Portugal,Slovenia 
Cat B: €200 refundBulgaria, Estonia, Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Macedonia, Turkey

If you want to receive the refund please fill in the refund document, sign and send it back to with the necessary documentation:

  • Conference receipt + proof of payment
  • travel documents + proof of payment
