STORYTELLING TIME 2021: “Journey in Museum”

the International Storytelling Festival of Bolzano
organized by Bolzano Municipality in collaboration with Sagapò.
It will take place in the “Museo Civico di Bolzano” (civic museum)
previous Host of other five editions of Storytelling Time, where international storytellers, local and from afar, will come together to tell traditional stories from their cultural heritage.
On 2021 Storytelling Time changes its shape and splits the festival into four different dates throughout the year.
“Journey in Museum” is this year theme.
Stories are tickets to travel across the borders:
there are no walls a flying carpet can’t fly above, no seas a sailer can’t cross.
Everybody, young or old, can travel through time and space, without spending a coin
Stories are journeys towards different cultures:
Leaping across the borders of Nationality and languages
bringing together the universal values shared among us all
The guest storytellers will tell folk-tales, myths and legends picked from their own traditional heritage and from those of the different cultures they met through their journeys across the world.
All of us will be able to meet in the land of “Once Upon a Time“, where, since the beginning of time to start a journey, the only things you need are the wings of your imagination.
