The Federation for European Storytelling (FEST) is a European network of organizations and associations active in the field of storytelling. FEST wants to enhance the visibility and the recognition of storytelling as a performing art and support the use of storytelling techniques in different sectors of society.
Heritage is one of these sectors. What is (and can be) the role of storytelling in heritage? What is happening already in Europe in this respect? Are there examples of good practice, what can we learn, what can be shared, how can we improve things? …
You are invited to join the FEST survey and give us information about the use of stories and storytelling techniques in heritage contexts.
In this survey we address storytellers who work(ed) with or in heritage sites, museums, natural parks or with intangible heritage such as habits, stories, history, festivities … and heritage providers interested in introducing storytelling. Your answers will help us map opportunities, techniques and good practices.
This survey will be closed on the 10 July 2019 at 12.00.
We will not publish any personal details but we plan to use your answers, statistics and examples in a general (not personal) way in a public report on the FEST website for the benefit of the storytelling sector.
